A Spoonful of Sugar meets PWC

I had real fun making this card.  I think it's because the image was so lovely to colour. The theme is PWC: Hearts and Flowers , which is to use hearts or flowers (or both) and the sketch is from A Spoonful of Sugar:  While making this card I played around with distressing, which i have done many times before but this time i decided to use my battery operated nail file that i have had for years but never used and it was sat in the back of a cupboard.  I had a play to see what effect it would give and now i'm hooked lol

DP 's from my stash a micture of freebies from magazines and some i recieved in a RAK.  Distressed around the edges and faux stitched
Image: Magnolia tilda coloured with whisper pens and water brush and highlighted with white gel pen. Wings glittered with Sakura clear stardust pen.

    very cute card, love the image and the ribbon and the flowers :-) just lovely. Am impressed with all the stitching too, have never got around to doing that on my cards , might give it a whirl after seeing this,,,
