DDC #2
This weeks challenge on Double Dutch is a great sketch. Yet again I decided to make a christmas card from it as i have so many to make for this year. The papers and the images i have used are from a Marie Johnstome CD that I printed off ages ago but never got around to using

Christmas card Gift set
The first sketch is up on Christmas cards all year round, so last night i set to and using the sketch made a gift set of six christmas cards. It's a really easy sketch so didn't take me too long to make 6 cards and a box

Live and let Die
Caardvarks challenge this week is to create a card using die cuts. And as i've been in a creative mood today i thought i would give it a try.
I used a pearlised backing paper and stamped flowers with versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder that has a touch of glitter in it.
The butterfly die is sizzix butterfly #2 that i have coloured with pearly watercolours and then edged with a gold pen.
The sentiment is a woodware stamp that is embossed in gold.

Lots of Sparkle
The image is from Cute companions, which i coloured with watercolour pencils and then glittered the dress and the butterfly. The backing papers are from the cute companions CD

Sorry not been posting
I have been busy transfering all my files on to an external drive so that i can totally trash my laptop and start from scratch. Grrrr it's going to take me ages to get all my programmes loaded on again.
Because of all this, I haven't managed to put any of my cards on my blog, especially my DT card for cupcake craft challenges, And i only just managed to get my card posted for Lauren this morning for this weeks challenge. (will be posting that card for all of you soon).
On a happier note. I have got through to the second round for the DT for Silly Monkey crafts. Out of 70 applicants, 18 of us have been chosen to go through to the next round. My Oh wondered what was going off when i let out a squeel of delight lol.
I have had to choose 3 of my best cards to send in for them to see my style and how hard is that. I have had all my cards opened in loads of windows on my computer scrutinising them all and trying to pick just 3, but i have so many cards that i love for some reason or another. In the end I just bit the bullet and chose three and then sent them quickly before I changed my mind again. Now I have to wait and see if I get through to the next round. I'm keeping my fingers andtoes crossed for this one. So if you see a woman walking funny down the road it's probably me suffering from severe cramp from crossed toes lol

cupcake challenge 5
The New Challenge has started today on Cupcake Craft challenges. This weeks Challenge is the sketch below:
Here is my take on this weeks sketch as part of the DT. The Blue baackground is holographic CS bought cheaply from Home bargains. I then ran some white CS through my cuttlebug after inking up the folder. Stamped image from penny black christmas critters, coloured with pearly watercolours from the Works. Ribbon and sentiment are from the dovecraft range.
Pop over to cupcake to see what the other members of the DT came up with. They are great.

Cupcake delight
Here is my first card made as a member of the Design Team for Cupcake
This weeks challenge is to make anything cupcake themed. Whether it be an ATC, a card, cupcakes, anything will be accepted as long as it uses cupcakes of course.
I decided to use up some of my stash that was free on some of the magazines that i buy and this is what I came up with. I love the pastel colour of it.

DCM challenge
Daring Cardmakers challenge this week is sponsored by Funky Hand. The challenge is to use the sketch and either funky hand downloadable papers or your own stash.
I chose to use my own stash for this as I was in a black and white mood. The papers are Dovecraft charcoal prints with some black and white spotty ribbon i found in my stash. The sentiment is hand written

Back from my hols and back to posting
Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't posted for a while but i have been on my hols in Devon. But i am now back and ready to start new projects.
On Cupcake Craft challenges this week they are running an ATC Challenge. There is no particular theme for this so i found it difficult in choosing which atc to use as i have made a good range of them recently, but I eventually chose this one. The photo doesn't really do it justice as it is decoupaged and looks really good in real life.
Hope you like it

New Look
Well as you all may be seeing i have changed the look of my blog again. Talk about being stressed, well nothing went right for me as blogger seemed to be playing up a bit for me so everything i tried went wrong. mainly with my new sig that i had made in psp. Finally after a couple of hours of playing i think i have finally got it sorted. So much for a crafting afternoon, that's gone out of the window now. But never mind will do my crafting tomorrow
