Right, so here are the rules:
The instructions are to go to where you keep your photo's on your PC, choose the 6th folder, then the 6th picture ... post it on your blog and explain.
This photo was taken in august 2002 at a friend BBQ. Not sure if we got burn't food or not as by this time we had had quite a bit of alcohol. No none of these people are me luckily lol
Now I need to choose 5 people to tag:

Lots of Love
Now this card I have made for someone special, and have managed to use 3 challenges to complete it. Firstly I have used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and it was a wonderful sketch to work with. The theme on Charisma Cardz is 'Love', and the ABC challenge this week is to have an 'X' somewhere on your card. I also had a try at a new technique that i had not tried before and had seen somewhere in blogland while blog hopping but not sure who's blog it was because i closed the window before taking note, so I appologise If you are reading this and I have not given you the acknowledgement.

Monochromatic Valentines Card
Over at Stamp Artic there is a challenge at the moment to make a Monochromatic Valentines card.
'Monochromatic means you are only allowed to use 1 color for the entire card. You can use as many nuances within the same color, as you please. We allow "skin colors" and of course black and white where that is natural, in addition to the main color. (black and white: f.ex- white cardstock to stamped images, and stamped images with black ink)Theme must be Valentine or Love.'
This took a lot of thinking about but here is what i finally made: I Decided to make it all white and searched through my stash to see what i could do. I used some clear pvc in my cuttlebug to diecut and emboss the heart and then backed it with white card. Vellum with white flowers on from PM. Ribbon and flowers from stash. Sentiment stamped and heat embossed

Kazan sketch 18
I love Kazan's sketch on 2s4u this week. As soon as i saw it i knew what i wanted to do with it. I just used Cream CS with a took of milk chocolate brown and using Archival Brialliance Lightening black ink (which is more of a bronze colour) I used the stamps that came with this months papercraft inspirations to make this card.
The photo isn't very good as i just couldn't get the lighting right to show it off to it's best and you can't see the georgeous sheen of the ink on the card.
It is a very simple card but very effective when the light catches it. I may have to try taking another pic tomorrow when the light is a lot better.

Mothers Day
I have made my first mothers day card of the year and now i have got most of the valentines day cards made i thought i'd better get started on these. I have made this card for the Sketch and Stash challenge where you use your new or never used (or neglected) stash on your cards and let them know what these items are. Well I went through my drawers an found this topper that i had bought a few of last year and forgotten i had and the backing paper is some i printed off when i first started cardmaking (think it was from the canon site). I decided to give the card a rustic look by distressing and tearing the papers as i thought this went well with the topper. Finished off with copper brads I'm really happy with the way it has turned out.

3 into 1
So many challenges and not enough hours in the day. I love all these challenge blogs and am totally addicted to them but there just aren't enough hours in the day to do them all individually so this time i have made a card using 3 challenge.
Saturday Challenge : Theme 'Hearts'
OCC : Technique 'Embossing Resist'
CPS : Any sketch from 1-99.
Ok theme hearts well i think that's obvious on my card.
Embossing resist: the main heart is embossed with black embossing powder and then chalked with red chalk. The mulberry paper at the top is red mulberry paper that i drew little hearts on with my quickie glue pen, and embossed with clear embossing powder. The mulberry paper is then inked with black ink and waterbrush so that the hearts stand out.
The sketch from CPS is number 51 Heart stamp free with papercraft inspirations

made by my daughter
On Daring cardmakers this week you are not allowed to make a thing. Instead you have to get someone else to make it.
Any card, any theme and any colour scheme of your choosing - but the catch... some one else must actually make and assemble the card for you... (with your supervision)!
As my 5 year old daughter has been itching to make another card for a few weeks now i thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for her to have another go and this is what she made.
Hope you like it
