Papertake Weekly Challenge - Be there or be square

I have decided this week to have a go at the papertake's weekly challenge. This week they have asked for square so here is my entry.

As i was making easter cards i decided to have an easter theme with this card. I used a nice floral paper with a grid pattern on it, fixed to the card with brads. I then used my cuttlebug to emboss a square pattern onto some pink and blue card, which i then used my stamp die to cut them out.

The easter eggs and the sentiment were from this months 'Lets Make Cards'. I then finished it off with eyelets threaded with organza ribbon.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

10 years ago I was a single parent after going through a messy divorce. I was working as a Nursing home manager, which was long hours and i didn't have time for much else, hence my kids suffered quite a lot. My social life was the internet.

What were you doing 1 year ago?

Now this is a lot happier time for me. After meeting my partner 4 years earlier we have had 2 children and lfe is much happier. Just bought our house a year earlier so spending all my time homemaking and working occasionally at the local pub. Holidays are spent in our touring caravan that i bought 2 years previously after selling my house.
