Think Pink

Suzanne at Slumber Cards has a Blog candy challenge at the moment to celebrate her blogoversary and 30,000 hit's.

As it is the October Breast Cancer Awareness Month she has asked us to make a pink card and send it to someone special.  I have made my card but not sure who to send it too yet as there are so many possible recipients so I may just have to make a few more.
The image is one of the older Tilda I love pink stamps coloured with watercolour pencils,  And I thought it was perfect for this card, although i would really love some of the new think pink magnolia stamps

Cupcake Craft Challenge - Turn Up The Heat.

This Weeks Challenge On Cupcake Craft Challenges is set by Jennifer, And here is the challenge she has set us:

Welcome to Challenge 9 at the Cupcake Challenge Blog. This week it is my turn to choose a topic and after lots of thought I decided to opt for "Turn Up The Heat". I love playing with heat tools such as encaustic tools and embossing guns so I thought this would make a fun challenge. You can use any form of heat or hot colours on your creations.
I can't wait to see all your wonderful work - I hope you enjoy the challenge.
Here is the card I made for the challenge using this theme.I have used quite a bit of heat embossing on this card.  I started by making the bathroom tiles. Peice of black cs scored at 0.5 cm intervals to make a chequered board pattern.  stamped all over with versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The poaenny black image is cloured with watercolour pencils and then the bubbles are double embossed with clear embossing powder.
The circles on the background is made by stamping using a cardboard inner from some kitchen paper and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Why not have a go yourself.  Pop over to Cupcake Craft Challenges and have a look at what the rest of the DT have done with this theme.
