Here is my take on the ismaki #16 sketch.
The option is to use 4 colour-coordinated patterned papers.
The papers i have used I got from Nikki so not sure of the manufacturer. the stamp is Dungaree Maggie from bootiful stampz, coloured with my water colour pencils. The sentiment and proverb i printed on the computer.

Birthday Girl
A friend of my daughters has askd me to make a birthday card for a one year old girl. I always seem to find this a difficult age to make for as they are not really babies anymore and they are too young as such to have a favourite that you can use as a theme. In the end i just searche through all my images and papers to find something suitable and this is what i cam up with. The backing paper is a lovely patchwork velum that i had in my stash, which I backed with a pink card stock with brads. The letters and the number i printed off my computer an coloured with my sakura stardust pens as a wash to give a suttle shimmer of glitter. The little bear image is Party bear from the bears all year collection by Gina Jane Johnson. It's then finished off with a ribbon and i think it has turned out ok. I hope my daughters friend likes it, as i had very little information of what they wanted
